Our story

JK Dreams Studio is a cine-style photography and videography studio based in Kokuvil, Jaffna. We photograph and film the celebrations that matter most to Tamil families: weddings, registrations, puberty ceremonies, birthdays, baby showers, house warmings, temple festivals and the first days of a newborn.

We grew up with these traditions. We know the rituals, the elders' blessings and the small moments that families want to keep, and we plan every event around them so nothing important is missed.

Shops and businesses ask us to film their openings and launches, and artists book us for album and single cover shoots. The care is the same for a first birthday as for a grand opening: good communication, careful planning and delivery on time.

Many of our clients now live abroad. We plan with them over WhatsApp, stream their ceremonies live to relatives around the world, and deliver every celebration as a full film and a handcrafted album.

We film with full-frame Sony cameras (a7 IV and a7R III), with backup bodies at every event.
