We know the order of a Tamil Hindu wedding and the rituals families expect to see in their album, which is not always the case with photographers used to Sinhala or Western weddings. Our team travels down from Jaffna with full backup gear and usually arrives the day before.
Colombo is also where many couples from abroad hold their wedding, close to the airport for relatives flying in. We plan everything over WhatsApp and stream the ceremony live for family who cannot travel.
For pre-wedding and outdoor shoots, the city offers Galle Face Green at sunset, colonial streets around Fort and Pettah, Independence Square, Viharamahadevi Park and Mount Lavinia beach just to the south.
